José-Luis Orozco has performed before millions of children, and his books and music are used by tens of thousands of teachers in America. He has a loyal following of parents, teachers and pre-school and elementary-aged children. His presentations are a musical journey through Latin American history, language and culture.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The US Census Bureau estimates that in 2009, Hispanics accounted for over 15% of the total U.S. population.
It is estimated that there are over 48 million Hispanics living in the United States.
The projected Hispanic population of the U.S. in 2050 is 132.8 million, accounting for 30% of the entire
U.S. population.
Hispanic purchasing power is around $700 billion annually.
About 91% of Hispanics are bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.
Although the highest numbers of Hispanics live in the states of Texas, California and Florida, the population of Hispanics has doubled in the states like Arkansas, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina.
From 1996-2006, the proportion of Latino students enrolled in public elementary and secondary schools increased from 14% to 20.1%, significantly higher than the growth of any other ethnic/racial group.
